What
is Agility League?
It is a non-sanctioned form of the sport that focuses on playing
a variety of agility games. Think of it as 8 weeks of FUN MATCHES!
Agility
league play is like being in a bowling league, except that you don't
bowl you do agility! League play is intended as a recreational activity
for those who meet the eligibility requirements.

challenges! **
** A GREAT way to get your young dogs some practice! **
** A GREAT new experience for handlers! **
It
is a form of the sport that focuses on playing a variety of agility
games. There will be different types of games that may fall under
the following types:
Strategy
-
These require the handler to develop careful strategy to gain
the best score.
Silly - These might involve dressing up in funny
clothes, the handler doing the agility obstacle or using water
cannons as part of play.
Training - These have specific training objectives
and may or may not be the kind of game you'd find in regular competition
events.
Team - These involve play by two or more dogs
and their handlers, possibly being on the course at the same time.
Additionally
- you will make new friends amongst a terrific group of people that
are there to have a great time with their dog AND a themed Potluck
dinner follows each night with amazing food and drink!
Terrific
prizes awarded to the MVP (Most Valuable Pup) each evening and overall
League Team winners and overall League MVP winner awarded at the
end of League.
We
operate under a set of league rules that are not sanctioned. League
may be made up of at least 2 teams made up of 2-7 handler/dog partners.
Dogs and Handlers must be advanced enough to play the game with
speed, accuracy and control. Teams will be determined by draw, and
will remain the same for the entire 8 weeks of play.

2 ways to register *****************************************
As a Full Team Member - means you can commit to
at least 6 of the 8 weeks
As
an Alternate - means you can only participate on
some of the nights.

Alternates
are handlers that cannot commit to at least 6 weeks, but can make
some of the days (see schedule dates below) Alternates will be welcomed
on ANY night they can attend to try for MVP that evening!
