"Blair"

Blair was my very first agility dog - actually my very first dog to train at all!

She was able to get her AKC AX & AXJ titles before a medical problem prohibited her from going any further. It was a real shame as she was very talented and taught me ALOT. A tough as nails dog - there wasn't anything she couldn't or wouldn't tackle with gusto. She was one of those agility dogs that you needed to play frisbee with for about 1/2 hr before taking her in the ring (remember this was 9 years ago agility!) just to help take some of the edge off. She joyously barked her way thru a course and was ready to go again as soon as we finished.

Even in old age - she still wanted to be out there doing little jumps and tunnels that I allowed her to do (at 8" heights) - she didn't jump too well anymore but sure wanted to do it!

I lost Blair to old age in June of 2005 at 15 years old - she had an amazing zest for life - she is missed greatly.
